![]() The setup takes a little while if you're going to be using a voice chat service like Discord/Skype, since your friends are going to be hearing an annoying sound echo unless you split your audio using a VB-Audio Cable. Probably missing some other local co-op games, but the point is, everything I've tried so far has run really well. I was able to play Cuphead with my boyfriend that lives far away, host 3 people for Overcooked, host Human Fall Flat (before multiplayer got introduced), Octodad, and Resident Evil Revelations 2. In order to host, you have to have Windows 8 or higher, so I've been the one hosting. I had a friend with pretty bad internet join with no latency), it works great. Saying its impossible not to get hit while trying to play the game like its something it's not is kind of on you man.I've been using it for months (they introduced some update today, haven't tested if they've changed anything yet), but as long as both you and everyone joining has decent internet (or rather, seems like it's more important for the host. Sounds to me like you are just more familiar with OFDP and that's fine, but KF is it's own version of that with its own personality. Starcraft tactics won't work in every RTS. Just cause the games look similar doesn't mean they should play the same. Maybe try playing it less like another game that you know and learn the games own intracacies. It also fucks with your combo so your scores must also be pretty terrible. Mashing a direction to move away is why you're getting hit because you have a couple frames where KF can't do anything after a miss. ![]() You can hit the blonde chicks twice, hit the other enemy behind you to stop the attack and then finish her off before she can hit you. It's also a case of knowing how much damage a single enemy has taken to avoid missing. You can totally manage it if you stay on top of the patterns and learn to prioritize. It also sounds like you need more time with KF because I can regularly make it to over 100,000 poits in KF before taking any hits and can get a 100 hit combo fairly easily so it's not impossible to get hit. In KF they can be on top of each other and it makes it impossible to understand who your attack is going to actually register with. The point is, in OFDP enemies are always in a line letting you know who you will be hitting. Because of this, taking a miss becomes a strategy to just stay alive and I feel like that completely differs from OFDP which requires you to be very deliberate in your button presses. Because you don't know who you're hitting when there is one of these enemies along with other enemies in a stack your best bet is to just keep mashing one direction to get out of there otherwise you'll take a hit from behind. The problem with this is it devolves in to button mashing when you have a stack with the blonde girls in white. The issue is that KF allows enemy stacking while OFDP does not. I have about 20 minutes logged in to KF as compared to 20 HOURS logged in to OFDP. Please note that this subreddit is not affiliated with Sony or any of its subsidiaries.
